This Disclaimer applies to all services offered by me, Catherine Ferrier Smith, including but not limited to Readings/Spiritual Life Coaching, Email or Text Readings, Distance Healing Sessions, and Mediumship sessions.

Purpose of My Services

My services are intended to offer spiritual guidance, insight, and support for your personal growth and reflection, and are for entertainment purposes only. Nothing I share in any session is meant to be taken as a guarantee of any particular outcome or result in your life.

Not a Substitute for Professional Care

I am not a medical doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, lawyer, financial advisor, or licensed professional in any of these or related fields. My services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or any other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have or suspect you have a medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other serious condition or concern, you should promptly contact an appropriate licensed professional or emergency service. Please do not delay, disregard, or discontinue professional advice or treatment because of something you receive in a session with me.

No Guarantees or Assurances

While I always do my best to create a safe, caring space and to share information as clearly and honestly as I can, I cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from any session.

In Mediumship and intuitive sessions, I cannot guarantee that a particular loved one, guide, person, or animal will come through. Sometimes you may hope to hear from one person and another may come through instead, or the information may appear in ways that are symbolic or unexpected.

Your Personal Responsibility

By choosing to work with me, you agree that you are fully responsible for your own choices, actions, and interpretations of any information shared during or after our sessions. You remain in charge of your own life and decisions at all times.

Nothing that comes through in a session should ever be used as the sole basis for making emergency, life-or-death, or other critical decisions. If you are facing such a situation, please contact an appropriate emergency or professional resource immediately.

Age Requirement

My services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. I will only work with a minor if a parent or legal guardian is directly involved, gives explicit permission, and is present or closely overseeing the process, as appropriate.

Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds

All sessions must be pre-paid as described on my Services page. When you schedule, you are reserving my time and energy specifically for you.

No-shows and last-minute cancellations are charged the full session price. There are no refunds for any reason once a session is booked and paid. I also do not offer gift certificates at this time.

Emergency and Crisis Situations

I am not a crisis, emergency, or on-call service. I am unable to provide immediate crisis intervention or emergency support.

If you are in crisis, feel unsafe, are considering harming yourself or someone else, or are in any kind of emergency, please call 911 or your local emergency number right away, or contact a licensed mental health professional, medical provider, or crisis hotline in your area.

Faith and Spiritual Orientation

My work is rooted in prayer and in a loving relationship with God, as I personally understand and experience that relationship. I honor and respect that your beliefs may be similar, different, or still unfolding.

My services are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a replacement for any organized religion, church, clergy, or religious counseling. If you are seeking religious or pastoral guidance, I encourage you to reach out to a trusted clergy member or spiritual leader within your own tradition.

By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in any session, service, or communication with me in any format, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Disclaimer and all related policies, including those regarding payment, cancellations, and refunds.

If you do not agree with any part of this Disclaimer or my policies, please do not schedule or proceed with a session. You are always welcome to contact me with questions before booking so that you can make an informed and comfortable choice for yourself.
